Carcassing Timber

Our specialism is being able to supply all your carcassing needs from ungraded timber for non-structural applications, C16 or C24 for greater strength, Graded Tile Battens, Long lengths and all in clean untreated or Tanalith Treated and if you need any specialist treatment, grading or machining we can offer that too.

No matter how big or small your project is, Alco Timber will have the materials to meet your requirements. Our kiln-dried carcassing is machine graded to C16/C24. Mostly from Scandinavia, we also carry smaller volumes from other certified European mills including from the U.K. and Ireland. We can supply in packs, split packs or picked lengths subject to availability.

We are committed to providing our customers with assurances in terms of the Government recognised CPET schemes. We aim to supply PEFC and
FSC® Certified timber from sustainable sources, where possible.

Over 95% of the material we supply is certified.

We carry what we believe to be one of the widest timber and timber-based product ranges in the UK and we pride ourselves on the high standards of our timber. We aim to be able to meet virtually any requirement from stock. When we can’t, we’ll source it specially.

We also offer a full machining service and can supply everything from simple lengths of timber to intricate mouldings.
